S&J Aviation Pvt Ltd has chartered an cargo aircraft And named Mandala. Permission was given by DGCA to operate a cargo freighter to TRV/MLE/TRV based in Trivandrum airport from 2001-2003 to clear the backlog of cargo under the open sky policy of Govt. of India.
In 2004-2005, S & J Aviation (P) Ltd. Has been renamed as Airport Ramp Handling Services (P) Ltd., and started handling at Coimbatore Airport. For Sri Lankan Airline Cargo freighter from 2004 to 2007.
ARHATs have been remitted by BCAS to do Ground Handling in all Indian Airport vide permission No.: CAS-7(23) 2009 DIV-1 (AIRPORT RAMP) dated 12-06-2009.
KSIE a Government of Kerala undertaking owning the Trivandrum Air Cargo complex is also permitted to do cargo handling vide permission No.:TACT/203 dated 11th JAN 2010.
ARHATs is now waiting for the approval of IATA Ground Handling Council planning to handle all Air links operating to Trivandrum, Calicut, Trichy and Coimbatore. |
